• Do you do appraisals ?
  We are happy to provide an insurance replacement appraisal for most jewelry items purchased at Cohasset Jewelers as a courtesy. For items purchased elsewhere or estate appraisals we have a Graduate Gemologist who is at the store on a regular basis and is happy to schedule an appointment for an appraisal or update an existing appraisal at a mutually convenient time.
• Do you do custom work ?
  We have a full time designer/goldsmith on staff and take great pride in the tremendous amount of custom work we do on a regular basis. Design consultations are always available. We can augment existing jewelry or execute the production of a piece from start to finish.
• Do you buy jewelry ?
  We buy complete estates, individual pieces and even broken items if they are made from precious metal. The items must be sterling silver, 9k,10k,14K, 18K, 22K or 24K gold or platinum. We are happy to do an evaluation and advise as to karatage, value, etc. No appointment is needed. Sterling silver flatware and serving pieces are also items we purchase with regularity.
• Do you offer personal shopping services ?
  As a complimentary service our knowledgeable staff provide gift suggestions for any occasion or perhaps a little something just for you !
• Do you have a layaway plan ?
  We do offer layaway on items of $100.00 or more. An initial deposit is required at the time of purchase and regular monthly payments must be made. The term of the layaway is variable from 90 to 120 days based on customer preference.
• Is same day service available on repairs ?
  In some cases it may be possible to make arrangements for a same day repair based on scope of work and customer circumstance.
• Is the repair work done on the premises ?
  The vast majority of repair work is done on premise by our full time goldsmith. In isolated instances there may be a need for specialized equipment or crafts people to complete a job to our exacting specifications. In those instances we do utilize a select few outside vendors.
• Are you open nights ?
  Our normal hours of operation are Monday thru Saturday from 9:30 to 5:30 PM. We are happy to make arrangements for evening appointments for our regular customers.
• Can I purchase a gift card ?
  Absolutely, our Cohasset Jewelers gift certificates are good indefinitely and are available in any denomination and beautifully gift wrapped.
• What is your return policy ?
  Articles in original condition may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of purchase date when accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase date provided the merchandise has not been worn, sized, altered, special ordered or purchased on special sale. Special orders are not returnable. A restocking fee will be charged on all credit card transactions. However, the restocking fee is waived if the merchandise is exchanged for something of equal or greater value.
• What methods of payment do you accept ?
  We accept cash, personal checks from existing customers, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.
