Update – May 2020

I continue to be inspired by my wife’s courage, strength, stamina and deep faith in coping with her breast cancer diagnosis. Sharon was diagnosed in 1995 and recurred in 2001 with a grave prognosis which was the inspiration for the creation of this Badge of Courage pin.

Sharon lost her battle to Metastatic Breast Cancer in May 2020. 25 years after her first diagnosis and fully 18 ½ years after her recurrence. I firmly believe she got the express ticket to heaven!

I thought about discontinuing my efforts to raise awareness and funds after she lost her battle, but so much has
changed in 25 years and the resources we committed have definitely made a difference!

It is my continued hope that through its’ sale, we will continue to raise awareness and encourage others to join
the fight against this insidious disease. My wife’s type of breast cancer is now curable. Curing some of the other types and finding a cure for metastatic disease are next on the agenda.

Each Breast Cancer Ribbon is made from solid Sterling Silver and is set with eighteen pink cubic zirconia stones. They measure just shy of 1” in length and can be made as a pendant as well. The ribbon can be ordered in a wide variety of cancer colors.

Our Breast Cancer Ribbon brooch sells $160 in Sterling Silver with 100% of the proceeds going directly to a designated charity.  Some of our past charities include; The Breast Cancer Research Fund (BCRF), The Susan G. Komen Foundation and Learn-live-love.

Since its creation, we have raised and donated over $100,000 with over 1000 ribbons sold.

My hope is that with additional awareness and funding, we will find a cure for metastatic breast Cancer as well!
